The problem we build against

Independent gym owners are stuck choosing between enterprise software priced for chains and cheap tools that break the moment you have more than a few hundred members. Most of them end up running billing in one system, check-ins in another, and revenue in a spreadsheet nobody trusts.

I have lived that stack. Valence exists because I know exactly which reports a general manager actually opens on a Monday morning and which features are just a demo slide.

What the product does

Member check-ins at the front desk, recurring billing, and revenue reporting in a single dashboard. An owner can see live check-in volume, what billed and what failed, and month-over-month revenue without exporting anything.

The design goal is that a front desk hire can be productive in an afternoon, and an owner can answer the three questions that matter — who is coming in, who is paying, and where revenue is heading — in under a minute.

My role

As co-founder I own pricing, sales, sales collateral, and demos. I run the conversations with gym owners, which means product feedback comes straight back from the same people I sell to. Selling software to operators is the same consultative process as selling memberships: diagnose the actual problem first, then show the shortest path to fixing it.
